Riders will be accompanied by an instructor on an R1 and a team of Yamaha technicians and pro riders will be on hand to adjust the machines to ensure everyone get the most from each test ride.

In addition to the test rides the impressive Pro Tour truck will include an R-Series display area.

Pro Tour test rides are only available to participants of the selected track day

To participate in the Pro Tour test rides the rider must already be attending the track day event on their own motorcycle

Pro Tour test rides at Donington Park, Brands Hatch and Silverstone should be booked in advance by email at

The Yamaha Pro Tour administration team at Silverstone will allocate a test machine to each applicant for a specific track day session

Confirmation of the Pro Tour test ride does not guarantee the ride will be provided and no cash alternative or other compensation will be given if the test ride does not go ahead

Pro Tour test rides take place during the normal track day rider sessions

Participants can ride the Pro Tour demo unit during one of their normal track day sessions instead of their own machine

The Pro Tour test rides will be taken with an instructor and the Pro Tour test rider must at all times follow the instructions of the instructor

The test rides are subject to availability and booking on the day may not be possible

Test rides may be subject to local weather conditions on the day and may be subject to cancellation

Riders must supply and wear suitable protective clothing and helmet

The Yamaha Pro Tour organisation reserves the right to refuse a test ride on the day even if the rider has a confirmed test ride slot

The instructions of the Yamaha Pro Tour staff must be followed at all times

Should the Yamaha Pro Tour staff or the track day organisation decide that for any reason safety is being compromised the test ride may be terminated

The rider should comply with the insurance requirements of the track day organisers

The rider will be liable for any damage up to a maximum of £1000 caused to the test ride machine that results from a crash where the rider is thought to have disregarded the instructions of the instructor
