So I finally got the chance to take this little beast out and to be honest from all the piss taking I'd be hearing about these bike's I wasn't expecting much, to all those who took the piss outta them though you're in for a big surprise, actually go and take one of these things out for a blast!
Okay, the styling leaves a lot to be desired and in all honesty I don't think the regen tech, battery and charger are quite there yet but...
This thing handles really well even when 2 up and really has got a lot of grunt off the lights (I don't think there is anything much that will leave it off the lights) and is pretty good for speed too!
If you do actually use this bike for what it is designed for (which is a commuter) it does the job really well, it's got plenty of range to get you to and from work as long as you don't have to do more than a 100 mile round trip. It handles really well in the traffic and doesn't bat an eyelid when you got someone on the back and you want to have a bit of fun.
Would I replace my gixxer or my SV for this? The simple answer is no, although give it a few more years for the tech to improve and the styling to get better then it could certainly be the way forward...
